From the boardroom to the brew — and building something real.
Rosa spent years in corporate banking at Wells Fargo — good work, steady pay, the kind of career you're supposed to want. But something was always missing. Then in 2020, her husband gifted her an espresso machine. What started as morning lattes for two quickly turned into drinks for friends, neighbors, and anyone who knocked on the door.
She didn't love store-bought syrups, so she started making her own. She didn't want to just make coffee, she wanted to make her coffee — drinks with personality, heritage, and heart. After countless hours of practice and earning her SCA Barista certification, Pink Burbon Coffee was born.
Today, Rosa pours at weekly Friday pop-ups out of her garage, caters private events, ships canned lattes, and is building toward the bigger dream: a real coffee shop where her kids grow up watching what's possible when you build something with your hands and your heart.
